AdvoCare 500 Postponed

by

Welcome NASCAR race fans to my NASCAR blog. This was supposed to be my race review of the AdvoCare 500 from Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Ga. The race was set to begin at 7:30 on Sunday night, with 4 Kasey Kahne on the Pole and 33 Clint Bowyer starting second. But Mother Nature had other plans. NASCAR managed to get in the invocation, the singing of the National Anthem and the fly-over before she had her way. The rain stopped and they brought out the track drying equipment. They almost had it dried when the rain started again. For more info click here.

Rain was expected to continue all night and all day Labor Day Monday. The AdvoCare 500 race is scheduled to be raced on Tuesday at 11:00 Eastern. I shall be watching and will be back with the review. Happy Labor Day to you all.

Brought to you by Sheila Hawley. I love NASCAR racing.
