Welcome NASCAR race fans to my NASCAR blog. This weekend The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series takes a weekend off before moving on to Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. Last week Carl Edwards won the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The NASCAR Nationwide Series also has the weekend off. They will also be in Bristol next weekend. Last week Sprint Cup driver, Mark Martin won the Sam’s Town 300 in the #32 Nationwide car. Mark recieved no points for winning as he is racing for the Sprint Cup Championship. The car owner, Turner, will recieve winner points for the car.
While the two top Series’ are enjoying their weekend off, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be racing at Darlington Raceway. The drivers will qualify and race on Saturday. I’ll return to let you know all about the race.
Brought to you by Sheila Hawley. I love NASCAR.
